Julianna F Cartwright
Prior to calling at the Bar in 2011 Julianna Cartwright worked as a solicitor in private practice for 12 years.
After a Scots' private law training in criminal and civil litigation, conveyancing and wills, trusts and executries she worked as a criminal and civil litigation solicitor. In that employment Julianna acqquired experience in summary criminal work and civil litigation including family and child law, personal injury, adults with incapacity and mental health law.
Julianna specialised in family and child law prior to being made a litigation associate in a small firm in 2004.
In 2007 Julianna was made a litigation associate specialising in family and child law in a mid to large size firm in Glasgow. A significant proportion of her caseload there comprised high net worth financial provision divorces for wealthy individuals.
Julianna has conducted all types of sheriff court hearings including numerous proofs and trials.
Immediately prior to coming to the Bar Julianna was employed as a legal adviser in the Justice of the Peace Court in the Sheriffdom of Tayside Central and Fife. Here she gained expertise in Road Traffic Law. Julianna has a breadth of experience in most areas of Scots' private law but has particular knowledge of family and child law.
